At Tabsong, we believe your practice sessions for your favorite songs are private. We built our song library and viewer to minimize data collection and help you learn your favorite songs faster with full privacy.
When you open a local Guitar Pro file to learn a favorite song, the file is never uploaded to our servers. Our viewer processes the file entirely client-side using your device's own power via WebAssembly.
This means you can safely open unreleased compositions or private practice materials without fear of leaks.
To help you learn faster and resume your favorite songs instantly, Tabsong saves preferences directly on your device. This data is not synced to the cloud:
Since we have no user accounts or subscriptions, we do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or address.
Basic Analytics: We use StatCounter to collect anonymous, aggregate data about visits to our song library - which songs are searched, what browsers are used - to improve your experience finding accurate tabs for your favorite songs. This cannot be traced back to you.
Tabsong is a curated song library linking to third-party platforms where you can get tabs for your favorite songs. When you click an external link (premium tab to PaidTabs or official artist store), you leave Tabsong.
These third-party platforms have their own privacy policies. Tabsong is not responsible for external privacy practices.
