Tabsong respects the intellectual property rights of creators, musicians, and transcribers. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws.

1. What We Can and Cannot Do

Because we do not host any files, we cannot remove files from the internet. If a tab for a favorite song is hosted on a third-party site (such as Ultimate Guitar, Songsterr, PaidTabs, or Google Drive) and is linked in our song library, you must contact that specific hosting provider directly to have the file removed.

However, upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we can and will permanently remove the hyperlink and metadata for that song from the Tabsong song library.

2. Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized representative) and believe that a link in our song library points to a file that infringes upon your copyrights, please submit a formal DMCA takedown notice containing the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed (e.g., the song title).
• Identification of the infringing material: The exact URL(s) on Tabsong.com (e.g., https://www.tabsong.com/song/example-slug) where the link to the infringing material is located.
• Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Statement of Accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Where to Send the Notice

4. Counter-Notices

If a link for a song was removed from our library due to a DMCA notice, and the third-party site hosting the actual file has successfully processed a counter-notice (proving the content is legal or authorized), you may contact us with evidence of this resolution to have the link reinstated in our song library.
