I Love American Idol

Even though I am already forty-six years old, and not so young, I have no problem admitting I am utterly fixated on and actually transfixed by, American Idol. I had always wanted to be a singer. So I identify with the challenges, the competitiveness, the esteem and wavering of esteem that is attached to climbing the musical tree to be the star at the top.
