Named after their hometown, the soft rock outfit, Boston has a loyal core of fans. Boston the band was in its prime during the 1970s and 1980s but they have never really gone away. They are a particular favorite with radio DJs and their appeal cuts across the generations. The most famous song associated with them is probably More Than a Feeling.
As with most groups that have been around for a long time, there have been several changes to the line up. The only remaining original member is Tom Scholz and he founded the band Boston, plays on guitar and writes most of the music. Current members also include Gary Pihl on guitar, Jeff Neal on drums and Kimberley Dahme on bass. Dahme is the first female member of the line up.
