So if you do not want to end up in the same situation as these people then think again before you starting downloading music to your iPod for free. However, if you want to get great music for your iPod there are plenty of sites around which offer them legally.
One of the best ways to get music for your iPod is to join a site that asks you to pay a one off membership fee and then allows you to download as many songs as you want. This is better than using iTunes which unfortunately will charge you about 99cents for each song you download. Would you rather pay say $39 as a one off membership and then download as much music as you want or would you pay 99 cents each time you want to download something. So for example with a one off membership fee of say $39 you could then download 500 songs. But with iTunes downloading 500 songs from them would end up costing you as much as $495. So as you can see there are huge savings to be had from using a membership site.
But when looking for music for iPods not only does a paid membership site save you money but they also have a large selection of music from all genres for you to choose from. Plus many of these sites offer their customers technical assistance if they are having difficulty in downloading any music.
