Sharpening the memory can help you in school, at work, at home, and so on. Sharpening your memory is the process of self-improving, since it will boost your confidence, self-esteem, and so forth. Your self-awareness will spark new memories that will help you hold onto those old memories.
If you consider music as a thought provoker, you are understanding how it works to sharpen memory. For instance, each time I hear the song “If you don’t know me by now, you will never, never know me.” This is a good song, however each time I hear the song my mind goes back to my x-husband. The memories of him are disturbing, since unfortunately I learnt too late that he was taking drugs and selling drugs. It led to divorce.
As you can see, music and articles of note opens the mind up to other memories. Unfortunately, sometimes those memories are painful. Sometimes at what time you are listening to music and a song airs, you often think of a loved one, a time in your life you want back, a mate, and so forth. Sometimes music opens you mind, and allow you to see what you want to say. In other words, you could struggle to say something to a mate that would make a difference since you expressed how you felt. Sometimes the words just won’t come, until you listen to a song that expresses those feelings. You think that is what I wanted to say. See how music works.

Music articles will tell you from the time music was originally created inspired people for centuries thereafter. As you can see if you want to sharpen the short-term memory, you will need inspiration, repeats, and recitals to recall.
The short-term memory processes information at speeds of lightning. Think of a time that you looked up a phone number and forgot the number almost immediately. This is because you didn’t take the efforts to recall the number. If you would have looked at the number a few times, recited the number in your mind, repeated the number aloud, accordingly you would recall the number.
As we play our favorite songs and sing aloud with the artist repeatedly, we can often recall each lyric played. Likewise, if you use the same strategies you use while listening to your favorite song and remembering the lyrics, you will sharpen your short-term memory.

For sure, the Kindle eBook Reader is lifestyle these days. It’s actually considered cool to be seen reading say on the subway or in a restaurant. With it, you’ll never run out of things to read. And if you like to read multiple books in parallel, this is your lucky day. They’re making their way into schools soon where dead-tree books have been eternally intrinsic. From any angle, the Kindle reader appears set to stay.
From one Kindle review to another, the device is generally described as a state-of-the-art mobile eBook reader which is on live connection with Amazon online bookstores and other amenities all across the US. Kindles form the major junction for all of Amazon e-reading business. The remarkable part is that they still retain the natural feel and display of the conventional print on paper.
Besides the good looks, the new generation Kindle is also flush with supreme functional features. The ergonomics is superb too, having been ironed out of whatever shortcomings the original version endured. This technological marvel has now been packaged into a thing of beauty and functionality with accident-proof buttons, smooth rocker controls, standard keyboard and stylish overall layout.
If the Kindle looks great and grab the limelight, that’s a bonus, not the original idea. But seriously, it’s supposed to just disappear into the reading. Like a good paper-filled book, it’s the proverbial judging the content and not the cover but what the heck! It’s that lucky star again for Amazon. Having that said, the technology packed into the Kindle is surely worth a mention.
The trademark feature of the Kindle reader has to be its Whispernet wireless service. So far, it’s the only eBook reader equipped with this facility. Readers are in constant touch with the bookstore and subscriptions plus synchronized with other devices associated with their Kindles through its Whispersync network and all this for free by Amazon. The service is powered by 3G technology so it doesn’t have to be within any hotspot zone to be functional.
Most Kindle Reader review sites will not fail to mention 2 things: the price and the size of the library. At a cost of the better part of $ 400, it could be steep for some but if you’re into reading, the 275,000 books available will beckon at a discounted price. Whether it’s worth the money or not is an individual thing and if Amazon has its way, any book that’s ever printed will have an e-version for the Kindle in future. That’s a lot of books!

The first MP3 Player was introduced in 1998 by Eiger Labs and was called the MPMan. It had a storage capacity of 32MB (about 10-20 songs) and sold for $69. Now it is not uncommon to find an mp3 player with 120GB of storage capacity (up to 30,000 songs) for $249. However, long gone are the days of using an mp3 player as, well, an mp3 player.
Most MP4 Player now serve as the “swiss-army knife” of electronics. They can play music, show photos, play videos and movies, connect to the internet, check email, and serve as a personal arcade. When the words “mp3 player” are uttered, the first thought that comes into people’s mind is “iPod”.
Why is this the case when there are several Media Player manufacturers out there (Sony, Samsung and Creative Technologies to name a few)? Is it the creative television ads that seem to bombard us at least twice during a 30-minute episode of “The Office”? Is it the fact that these players come in several different colors to fit our mood? Is it the slick navigation and the ease of use? Or is it due to the fact that inside each of us, we are rooting for Apple, the underdog, who has pitted itself against the mighty Microsoft Corporation?
